The performing division of Shakti is the Shakti Dance Company. Established in 1981, the company is based in Los Angeles, California. All performing members have had several years of training and have completed their arangetrams, solo dance debuts. The average dance experience of the senior Shakti DanceCompany members is 8 to 12 years. The company, having performed world wide, is much acclaimed for its presentations and vibrant performances all over the world.

World class dancers from India, US, Malaysia and other parts of the world are also and integral part of the Shakti Dance Company. The company's orchestra comprises of world class musicians from India, US and Canada and provide vital musical accompaniment for all performances. The company has traveled to many prestigious places and have had many wonderful tours of the US, India, Canada, and abroad.
