The Touring Company

     The Shakti Dance Company tours solo, groups (2 to 20) and thematic dance musicals, all with orchestral music accompaniment.  Shakti's thematic production tours are seasonal. The production on tour in the Fall of 2005 August through October is "Sant Meera". The production features dancers Viji Prakash, Mythili Prakash, Ajit Bhaskaran Das, the renown vocalist Laksmi Shankar, the Shakti orchestral ensemble and the dancers of the Shakti Dance Company.
